SD card unexpectedly removed...?

SD card unexpectedly removed... The heck does that mean? I didn't take it out nor jar or drop the phone. That just popped up and I didn't have access to the SD card until I rebooted. It's a 128gb samsung evo microsd that was formatted in the X. Anyone else have this issue?

SIM Card Removed

After installing CM 12.1, I started getting the "SIM Card Removed" error pretty frequently.. it's very annoying. I've been doing some research, but I can't figure out if it is software or hardware. Please advise.

By the way, I have had this problem on CM 12.1, CM 10.2, and Resurrection (which is based on CM 12.1). I will be trying the Google Play Edition later today, and I will go back to stock 4.4.2 if I get the error on GPE. I'll update on my results.

Su, Safestrap, any modification to /system removed on reboot!

So I have a problem here. I rooted my X1049 with kingroot, to get temp root, removed write protection with the remount command on the terminal emulator, and installed Safestrap. It installed just fine. But when I reboot my phone to enter Safestrap, it doesn't show up, because when my phone boots up and I check the system partition with my file explorer, both Su and Safestrap have been removed. I have also tried to replace Kingroot with SuperSU, which doesn't work as when I open SuperSU it says I need to upgrade the Su binaries which fails. And when I reboot my phone, Su is removed, yet again. So to me it seems like the main problem is Android rolling back my changes to /system. I really need help with this, so plz respond as soon as possible.

"SD card unexpectedly removed" Possible hardware problem?

Hi Everyone,

I have been using my note 3 N900W8 Canadian variant for a few months now with a Lexar 600x 64GB Sd card and have not had any problems. But a few days ago I noticed this message "SD card unexpectedly removed" and my sd card was unmounted.

1st I tried the usual power off, remove card remove battery and replace card and battery. but dod not fix problem.

THen I tried a format on the card using the phone ,a format using a PC to FaT32, a restore through recovery and a KIes restore but nothing worked. I know the card is good because it works fine on my wifes LG G3.

Then I got a different Sandisk Ultra 16GB card and tried it in the Note 3 but the same happened.

So finally I called Samsung they told me to send them the phone but I would have to pay for repairs.
I am not under warranty so I figured I would have a look first, I opened up the phone and looked in the sd card slot and from what I can see it looks like pin 3 from the left hand side over is diffenet then the rest of the pins. Whe you look down at the slot ,the metal cover has a small hole and if you look at the hole you are able to see a pin, I believe this is pin thee.

My question is do other Note 3 owner also see this pin or could it be debris?
An other thing I noticed is that when you slid the sd card in, if you are looking from the back of the SD card slot with the back cover off and the motherboard exposed there is a small metal clip/lever that gets pushed down by the top of the sd card, is this normal?

I wish I could take pictures, but my camera sucks and cannot get close enough images. If I do get a better camera I will post the pictures.
