changing data icon LTE to 4G

Hi i just flashed a custom rom and when using my 4g data the icon is LTE.. anyway i can change to 4G like how it used to be? Without using xposed because the rom is oxeded. And im using masik v6.0 for n9005

Can I unlock region by changing my modem or rom?

Changing Album Art

Hi, my name is Jason. I'm new to this site. First off, I've been reading around the site. Good questions and answers and very helpful.

I recently installed a whole bunch of songs from my laptop on to my G4. Upon opening the music player I realize that only a handful of albums have the album art. I installed around 100 artists and maybe 15 of them have the cd cover art. One of them has only 1 song and when I hold down the default album art, it brings up the option to Change Album Art. So I did. However, when I do that same thing on all the other albums that have more than one song in it, the Change Album Art doesn't even come up as an option.

Am I doing something wrong...or am I just not seeing where I need to do this?

App updates disappear from Play Store after changing DPI?

I changed the DPI on my 610 and at the time I had like 6 app updates available including facebook, Twitter, maps, gallery, etc. Once I rebooted with the new dpi, the app updates were gone. When I went back to the original dpi and rebooted the app updates were available again. Any ideas as to why? I'd like to keep my changed dpi because I think the original dpi (240) makes things way too big in that small screen.

When changing port in device manager

When I go to change the port in device manager during using lg flash tool the pc says I have no drivers on the android phone.
So I can not change the device port to 41. Any advice will help. I am trying to restor the firmware on my lg optimus g pro e980.

Changing default install location---> Bootloop

Hi,
I would like to ask id there is any way of getting away with this without restoring..
I changed the default install location with Lucky patcher to INTERNAL. After that I manually rebootet but my phone (HUAWEI MATE 7 ) stuck in bootloop. I tried these:

• Clear cache partition/dalvic cache


• Uninstall lucky patcher in safe mode

Nothing happened though....
Is there any way to undo this?

Help on Changing the System Click sound

Hey guys. You know that sound that you get every time you click on something on the phone? (Apps, navigation bar etc.) I always get this loud 'chit' sound on my Xperia C2305, and I was wondering if I could manually change it to the Xperia Z3/Z4 click sound. (Those similar of the PS3 menu click sound.) Can somebody please help me on how to change this. My phone is 100% rooted with Kingroot + I've got Root Explorer. Any Xperia z3 click tones uploaded as well will be highly appreciated. Thanks! :)

ASUS Dialer & Contacts (Changing The Icon)

After the recent update of ASUS Dialer & Contacts, it said change phone app icons. (As seen in the image!) Where to change them from? I don't see any icon change option under settings.

Custom Recovery Changing Issues

Hi,

I have flashed my first custom rom (RR) on my z ultra and found that the Rom has overrode Nut's Dual Recovery as my custom recovery. The recovery that this rom has does not support creating a nandroid backup so I would really want to revert back to Dual Recovery.

I have tried reinstalling Dual Recovery and after the process, the phone rebooted and went to Dual Recovery Interface (as expected). However, after a reboot, the custom recovery that my phone enters to is the custom recovery that comes with the Rom.

Is there any way to make Nut's Dual Recovery permanent no matter what Rom I flash?:confused:

Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a moto x style (indeed everything is just decided in my head! :D ) and change my htc m7.
I'm considering to buy the white one with the back soft grip and later in the months change the back cover with the bamboo one (if it's possible to change it,someone will sell them in the time). Is that possible?
I've seen videos on youtube about this for the moto x 2014, and the building of moto x 2014 and moto x style seems to be the same.
Could you tell me something more about it?
Unfortunately there is no moto maker here in Italy...

I have joined my unlock function with my watch Droid LG Turbo R WATCH works from kitkat .. when I change a lollipop few months ago worked the same way .. no problem.

The way it worked was when the phone detected the clock only had to put the key once and ready .. worked for me because if I wanted to keep the phone locked despite my presence was still locked.

But for a couple of days ago .. I change the way you work .. because when detecting the clock is automatically unlocked .. I liked the manual is the first release I felt more confident intruders eyes of my girlfriend. I know I can block manually, but that means pick up the phone every time I get close to it and block it if I want it to stay locked.

Changing Carriers

Hi, I am new here and need some help with a Phone I just Bought.. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 ( SCH-S960L) Sprint ,,, Now when you turn on the phone it says Tracfone... But it is not a Tracfone But I believe it is a Straight Talk.
Anyway, I don't want to use Straight Talk Service, I want to unlock it so I can choose a different Carrier. I did Root this Phone.. Now How do I unlock it ? Any help would be real Cool . Thank you.

Obs.³ Having a registry editor (I recommend the CustomPFD 0.5)

1- With the Full FS Access mode connect the device to the PC and navigate to the C: \ This PC \ Windows Phone \ Phone \ Windows \ Fonts and paste the segoeui3.ttf source (attached at the end of post)

2- Edit the following records (note the value before editing so you can return if you do not like)

M7 Vibrates When Changing Connection Between 2G, 3G And H+

Hi,

after changing my ROM to CM12.1 my M7 always vibrates when changing the data connection between 2G, 3G and H+

I wiped data, system, cache and dalvik after as i changed to nightlies and im wiping cache and dalvik on every nightly upgrade.

I got this issue on every nightly i installed after changing to CM12.1

Is there any known fix to this issue?

Changing ROM on phone without factory restore watch?

I was just curious to know if there was a way to not have to factory restore the Urbane when changing your phone to a different ROM?

Hi guys I wanted to tell you that I have a rooted LG G3 D855 and I was running Candy ROM when I made up my mind and wanted to flash Xtra Lite 3.0 for D855. I read the instructions and but I when I flashed it failed. I couldn't understand what exactly wrong I was doing !! Secondly I read not once but many times that we have might have to flash kernel for xtra lite 3.0. There was link which had many kernels and I got puzzled which 1 to flash for my LG G3 D855. :confused:
Well then I flashed Blisspop ROM as I got frustrated and things started to work. I really want to flash xtra lite 3.0 but I am not doing it the right way. I tried to Google but I was very uncertain and wasn't able to understand what I should do?
I was getting this message after I was flashing xtra lite 3.0 via TWRP "error executing updater binary in zip twrp"

Would it be nice if someone could guide me step by step as I want that ROM for my device ! I am sorry that if some of you feel I am asking too much...
