CM 12.1 Browser

I am currently running the latest CM 12.1 Snapshot ( cm-12.1-20150901-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO23E-vs985) and was wondering if there is a way to replace the AOSP browser in CM with Chrome.
I personally don't like the AOSP Browser and would prefer Chrome.
I have searched the forums and can only find people wanting to go from Chrome back to AOSP.
I know I'm weird but I have my preferences...

I know that is possible but I can't make it, becouse I'm newbie.

At work, I have Wi-Fi. Somehow I want to get this WI-FI trafic, only for my Google Chrome portable version in my PC and I need it to make secured.
I have meizu mx4 phone. I tried to emulate linux on it, using "Linux deploy" and using adb reverse tcp, to conect with putty to it. But, I failed with squid proxy, it will not work, and I think it's becouse of my phone, couse it's Android based on Flyme.

So if anyone have ideea, how to do that, please help.

So that's what I have: Phone, usb calbe, Wi-fi at work, PC and if it's helpful for me to secure trafic (vpn at home, from my router).
I need step by step to made it. Or if you don't have time to say it, just give me a link were I can read some info, or in general what should I do.

[HELP] Deleted default browser

Hi everyone! Sorry for my english, I'm Argentinean. Need your help :( I deleted the defult browser on android lollipop (5.0.2) I have the LG G2 AT&T(D800) version with Cloudyfa's 3.3 ROM, and now I can't set the UC browser as my default browser, someone can send me the browser.apk file to restore back it? Xda Browser display

I'm a newbie and am not sure where to ask this question. I'm accessing XDA forum via browser (Firefox) and have a question about the display. Threads where I participated are clearly marked. But threads I just read are just marked by being unbold. This is normally fine but in the color scheme XDA uses (orange-brown) the difference between bold and not bold is difficult to see. At least to my old eyes. Can I modify or select a different XDA webpage view that uses a different color where the difference is more clearly visible?

Or, is it just me?

(My nexus 5 was previously used by someone else. He used Tapatalk 2.4.15 . But it insists on using his login data - which he changed - and will not let me enter a new username and password. I don't like the latest version of Tapatalk.)

Moto E Pop Up problem in any browser

Please somebody help me!! Whenever I've tried to open any website from any browser it is redirecting me to this pop up ad-type.google.com/rot.aspx?partner=910345&f=popup-u.I'vetried to clear data,cache and cookies but it is not working.Even I rebooted the phone.what should I do??

Text Only Browser (*no option* for images)

I'm looking for a text only browser that doesn't provide the option to view images or videos. All the ones I've come across allow you to view the webpage as "normal" (ie, show images) if you choose.

I need something that doesn't provide this option and only shows text, nothing else.

If nothing like that exists, does someone want to build me an app that can do this? I'm assuming it would be relatively easy. It doesn't need to be fancy...

App for monitoring awake time and a battery saving browser..

I rooted my H815 v10c. And I installed Gsam. After a day of normal usage it says that I have about 1.5 hrs of awake time, but nothing more specific, regarding the app that causes it. Is there an app that lists out what kept my phone awake? Is this even a problem to have that much time as awake time? Or is it normal? Gmail sync off, I only get notifications from facebok, i use it with Facebook chat enabler and that's about it.
I also installed wake lock detector but I can't see a section for apps that could have kept my phone awake or actually did.

The other thing. I didn't want to open another thread for it:
I noticed that Chrome, the stock browser and dolphin eats up 5% in 10 to 15 minutes, where chrome is the most hungry. It's horrible to see every minute or two 1% battery loss.
I found out that opera mini uses the same 5% in 36 minutes. (I tested them at home, on the same brightness level of about 25-30% using WiFi.)

My question, how come that opera uses only that much battery? And, is there another browser that is the same, or better or just a bit worse on the battery than the opera mini, but a bit more optimized or more fluid?
I tried UC mini and apus browser, but they're no good... I quite like the stock browser and chrome too, but I hate their battery management.. If there's no alternative, I'll stick to opera mini.
