Hello everyone,
I'm stuck with a problem with the wifi reception/connection of my Samsung Galaxy S III (i9305) and I would really, really appreciate it if someone could help me fix it. :(
The problem is: The wifi doesn't work, unless I stand very close or next to the router (in a range of about 3-4 meters).
I have checked the Wifi Analyzer app, and it seems that the wifi is only functional when the signal is between -60 and -40 dBm. When the signal is between -60 dBm and -100 dBm nothing will load (websites, playstore, apps which require internet etc.).
These are the things I have tried:
I have changed the wifi antenna of the phone with a fully functional one (the little thingy with the long cable)
I have tried installing different ROMS (Stock ROM, Cyanogenmod and another one)
I have turned the wifi power saving off (With the *#0011# code)
I have reconnected to the router 9001 times (forget network and reconnecting)
I am 99.9999% Percent sure that the problem isn't with the router, since I have 2 other Galaxy S3 devices and they have no problems when going further than 4 meters from the router.
PLZ help me :(:crying::crying::crying:
