Using Beyondpod to listen to Podcasts. Would go into Chrome and sometimes the playback would stop. Someone at Beyondpod forums said Android is killing Beyondpod because Chrome is a foreground process.
Also noticed today in Chrome, I would start a forum post. Then go into Apps to look at the free RAM which was around 300Mb. Then went back to Chrome to finish my post and what I had typed in was gone. So Android is killing apps to make room for other apps.
Also my mistake was trying out the beta and dev versions of Chrome. Got rid of those. So far using Beyondpod and Chrome together is not killing my audio.
There is a setting in the Dev section for number of apps to keep. It is set to standard right now. Looks like the max is 4 maybe 5 processes.
After installing Google play services 8.1 I found this in Settings/tap&pay ...Yes I am running Android Marshmallow after I close setting it disappointed. Anybody else seeing this?
I'm working with the great tdunham in getting together a deodexed rom so we can all get the extra goodies like xposed and what not working.
First off we need to get a running odexed rom running, so if you would like to help out in testing, please message me on hangouts. Thank you for your time
I saw in this report that the desire 816G dual-sim variant is getting the official android 5.0.2 lollipop update with sense 6 just like the original 816. it also mentions that the update is under testing too.. so it should be here very soon.
