huawei p7 don't start anymore ...

Help needed,
My huawei P7 lay on my desk, suddenly it shut down and I can't get it start again.
First I thought the battery is empty, so I put on the charger, but if I press the start button there only came a short hum and nothing happens.
It's also impossible to start into the recovery....
The phone only hums and nothing happens....
I've rooted the phone in October 2014 and also unlock the boot sector......
Went to my dealer and give the phone to the guarantee.... but after some days I get the message that my guarantee is forfeited, because I've installed foreign software...
But that also shows my that they were able to start the phone, because how they should know that there is an alternative recovery installed...
I told them they should send the phone back to me ..... (Don't have it back yet)
Could anyone give me an advice how to start the phone if I get it back and it doesn't start ....

can't Update my Z2 anymore !?

hello guys lets get to the point

i got z2 d6503 rooted on android 5 every thing is fine but the problem is i can't update it either from pc sony program
or phone update center both can't identify the phone or say something went wrong and it just keep going this way any way to fix that ?

Fire TV won't turn on anymore

I've had my Fire TV for almost a year (bought it Oct 2014). Been working great, no issues. Then yesterday I come home and try and turn it on, nothing, no lights on the front, no signal to the TV. I unplugged power and plugged it back in, still nothing. I haven't changed anything on it system or app-wise in months. Just been using Kodi daily.

It is rooted and I believe has CWM installed (did this almost a year ago so I don't specifically recall).

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

SD card not working properly anymore

My phone is just over 1 year old now and I've never had any issues before. A few days ago I would get the message that the SD card was removed unexpectedly when it wasn't, and then it would work for a few hours and repeat. Now, I cannot get either of my 2 micro sd cards to be recognized by my phone. Both these sd cards are able to be read by my pc so I am confident they aren't corrupted or have an issue. Is this most likely an issue with the SD card reader in my phone or somehow the sd cards have been corrupted?

App-specific passwords not working anymore under Android 5

Hi!

I am using multi-factor authentication for all my Google accounts.

I am pretty sure that I once used app-specific passwords on my Android (that time version 4 of Android) devices to authenticate.

Yesterday I reset my device and also the app-specific passwords I created earlier. I recreated new app-specific passwords.

Then, after having restarted my freshly reset Android device I tried to add one of my Google account after the other. As part of that I am, for each single account, first asked for my mail address and password. But, for whatever reason the app-specific passwords are just not accepted. Once entered I am just prompted again and asked for my password. Fascinatingly Google seems to recognize that the password is correct, because if I enter a wrong one on purpose I really get an error saying that the password is wrong.

Entering my "main" Google password works and leads me to a UI then asking for my Google Authenticator code.

Are app-specific passwords no longer support for adding my accounts on Android or am I doing something wrong?

Is it worth Rooting anymore?

1. I noticed exploits are being patched left and right.

2. Knox is easy to trip now.

3. There are no custom firmwares anymore for Samsung phones.

4. Samsung requests the removal of links on this board constantly.

5. Can't use Samsung pay with a knox tripped phone.

6. Downgrading is blocked in case you have an upgraded phone.

Is this what Samsung forums have come to now? Are there phones out there that you don't have to deal with Knox?

It seems people don't really care anymore about Samsung phones?
