Enable AWS Bands

Is there any method we can enable AWS frequencies in LG G3 D852?
I have read other posts but these are just for Samsung. Is there someone who has successfully done this on LG G3?

Huawei spare bands

Has anyone found the banda up for sale online? I bought the "Milanese" SS mesh one and I really like it but j wanted a spare one because I tend to break things. Its very well made but I will find a way to break it in some clumbsy way. A variety of bands would be nice with the quick change pins being a marketing point too.

Unlocking 4G Bands

I have an A500F that I bought in Bahrain (United Arab Emirates ROM). I’m now back in the United States and using the phone on my carrier here. The problem I have is that it is not connecting to the 4G signal for my carrier. The 4G signal for the Bahrain carrier operated on the 1800 MHz, and my carrier now operates on the 1900 MHz and 1700/2100 MHz bands. I wish to enable those bands on my phone. I know it is possible with the S5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...ds-to-t2886059), but I can’t seem to get the Windows software to cooperate with my A5. Not sure if I need a specific Ark Kernel, or if I need to install a custom ROM.

I would prefer not to flash the entire ROM. My phone is rooted, but I’m still using the stock Kitkat ROM, and I’m quite pleased with it.

If anyone can help, I would be in your debt.

USA Bands For T-Mobile & Warranty Question

Hello there,

I saw a z5 compact listing on ebay with these specs:
4G FDD-LTE B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(1700/2100), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700), B20(800), B28(700), B38(2600), B40(2300)
3G W-CDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz
2G GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz

The phone is a pre order from Japan. My question is will this work here in the US with T-mobile 4g lte? Or should we wait for the US release?
Also, if we order this (from USA) will Sony give us warranty given it was ordered from Ebay and from Japan?

Flashing other carriers' or International firmware, and LTE bands

I understand that it's possible to flash firmware from other carriers, or international firmware, on a T-Mobile G6 Edge, and that it will work, albeit with some glitches that can be patched. What isn't clear to me so far is whether flashing these firmwares has any effect, positive or negative, on the available LTE bands on the device. For example, would flashing AT&T firmware on this device enable bands 29 and 30 (which the actual AT&T variant supports), or is that a hardware limitation or some kind of deeper code that is not addressed by a typical firmware flash?

DISCLAIMER: I've searched. Lord, have I searched. All I could come up with was stuff relevant to earlier devices with different SoCs or whatever. If there's something obvious I've missed, please point me there, and feel free to laugh at me while doing so.

OnePlus Two LTE Bands unlocking

I've bought a Chinese version of OP2 and it seems to be doesn't have Band 20 LTE support (800 MHz). :crying:
And I was wondering if it's possible to unlock the band like for OPO?

As I purchased the H6 via web, and in my country 4G band (850MHz) isn't supported.

LTE bands and custom ROMS

hi everyone

Here in the UK, EE uses the following LTE bands
800 MHz (0.8 GHz)
1800 MHz (1.8 GHz)
2600 MHz (2.6 GHz)

It might have just been a bad day for signal reception, but would flashing a custom ROM (ICE in my case) affect or change the LTE bands used?

I need to know which bands of LTE does SM-G9287 support. I could not find information on the Internet, and I don't trust eBay sellers with their descriptions. Could anyone please confirm the LTE bands support of this phone model?

Hi I've bought this phone over net as I wanted the Silver version and it arrived yesterday but I have not opened it yet as a bit concerned about which 4G bands it will work on.

I'm with o2 in the uk and that uses band 20 800mhz. This phone uses band 26 800mhz. Will I be able to use this phone on o2? Are all 800mhz bands interchangeable? Sorry if this is a stupid question but kind of new to all this and don't want to waist 600 quid on a phone I can't use

Unlock additional bands?

Hello all, I just tried doing the whole QPST band modification thing that was a big hit with the 1+1. I was able to successfully modify the NV items, and they stuck when I re-read the devices NV memory, but after reboot they were always reset. Does anyone know of a patch or kernel that will allow for band modification?

I was wandering if it is possible to enable all lte bands in M4, especifically in E2303 for south america?? Does this Phone and the other models have the same hardware?? Can I install an E2363 firmware to try o does the Phone bricks??

xperia z usa bands

hi everyone, i m from europe, and i m visiting usa, i have a c6603 xperia z and i need to enable t mobile or att bands. I was thiking of flashing the c6606 baseband, or replacing my motherboard with a c6606 one.
I also tried unlocking all bands (search xda all gsm bands) but i couldn t go throught the process all the way.
ps. i have 3g bands umts bc1 , 5, 8 and i need umts0/1/2/4/10
i also have lte 1/3/5/7/8/20and i need 2/4/13/17/12/25/26/41

Can we unlock the 3G and 4G bands of Moto G 2015?

Hi,
I brought a Moto G from India, before coming the US for doing my masters.
The thing is here it does not pick up 3G or 4G bands. It just works on EDGE.

I wanted to ask if i can use the QPST method to unlock the bands? because I can see no information on it in the forums(for this phone). I am especially confused since it says nothing about dual sim phones and this is the dual sim variant of moto G

It would be great if someone would guide me how i could unlock the bands on my phone.
