[Q.] What the **** is in my status bar? Please help!

Please can someone tell me what this flashing icon is in my status bar? It's SUPER ****ING ANNOYING and it's slaughtering my battery life! This literally just appeared out of nowhere, and I've had my m9 since May! Please help!
