Developer vs. Non-Developer performance?

This is my first foray into the Verizon locked bootloader world. The first time I've had a locked bootloader on any ROM, actually.
Would a Developer Edition be noticeably faster than a non-Dev edition if both were running the same rooted 5.1 ROM?
