Odin failing no boot

Ive been having random reboots and freezing on my stock note 4. I performed 4 factory wipes and tried to clear cache with no luck. I have since tried to Odin a fresh download of the 5.1.1 and now it failed half way through the system files. phone wont boot and has no stock recovery. Says to connect to Kies and perform recovery. Ive tried pulling battery and rerunning Odin and it keeps failing. Phone was NEVER rooted.

Ive tried to connect to Kies 3 and it says my phone is not supported so i downloaded Kies 1 and it wont connect. Odin does see phone in download mode.

Please help as i need to have the phone at least power on so i can upgrade OCT 1

thanks

2nd OTA lollipop update failing

I recieved the first OTA update for lollipop and it installed correctly. Now I went to download the large 700+mb 2nd OTA update and after the download completes my phone resets. It goes into installing the update, however about 1/4 of the way through the update, i get the dead droid screen flash on my screen and then my phone reboots back to 4.4.4 and tells me that the updated was unsuccessful. I have a moto x XT1060 dev ed, build KXA21.12-L1.26-4 on system version 212.166.4.

I'm stumped on what to try next. I have already returned everything back to stock and downloaded all updates and I get to the same point and get the same results. I've wiped all data, system, cache, and davlik, installed stock recovery and still get the same results. i've removed super user rights to see if that would work but it did not. I'm at a lose at what to try next. Anyone have any other ideas?

Running the latest OS update. Never had this issue before...... If you look at the screenshot it seems to be charging and awake while the battery is draining... The phone was sleeping at least 90% of the drain time..... An ideas ? Thanks

TWRP Restore failing on cleaned phone

Long Story Short: On a CM12(Nightly) Moto G(Falcon) that had to be thoroughly reformatted after an unexplained disaster, I'm trying to use a TWRP backup made earlier and ensconced on my computer to restore my phone. After using the backup function once to establish the filepath, I transfer the backup to the backups folder in TWRP and use the restore function. At first, it said that it was a f2fs backup or something, but after reformatting to match it just hangs when trying to restore the data folder(without a specific error), and throws a "Failed" message. Backup doesn't work, phone gets one step closer to being launched out the window. I've thoroughly reformatted everything, reflashed recovery, and double checked all the catches I know of(the backup is under 2.5 gb for instance).

I'm stumped. Should I give up at this point? Is the backup just gone(especially given that it's connected to how this all got started)? Is there nothing I can do with having captured all the folders onto my PC?

(Full story)
While fiddling around with Moto G 2013(falcon/xt1032) running CM12 Nightly this morning I decided I should take a backup with TWRP (which I had also specifically installed this morning because of rumors of it working with encryption). The moment after I rebooted from the (supposedly successful)backup, my phone got stuck in a nasty bootloop, would even reboot from attempting to start recovery half the time. After a lot of cursing and trial and error I successfully formatted everything and reinstalled TWRP, and that stopped.

I had even managed a mass evacuation of my files (simply dragging everything off with windows explorer) to my computer. This included that fateful backup that TWRP made, that didn't seem to be worse the wear. There are some things on here that I'd rather miss (especially since I just cleaned out my PC based backup program yesterday), so I'm trying to restore my phone from there.

Can't install stock firmware...odin keeps failing

Okay guys, I just got a brand new tmobile note 4. Tried rooting it but something went wrong...

Didnt make a backup either so hopefully you guys can help me.

I installed twrp successfully...but after installing supersu...kept getting the boot loop.

Decided to give up rooting and go back to stock.

Downloaded the latest 5.0.1 stock firmware for my phone but after running it through odin, it keeps failing.

I don't know what to do.

I didn't hard brick it since i can still boot into download mode and twrp recovery. But i already wiped system so i don't have any OS on it now.

Should i just chance it and try and send it back to tmobile for a replacement?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

[Q] Failing miserably at making a boot animation... WTF am I doing wrong?

HI all,

I am trying to create a boot animation for my N6, it's a family video that lasts 33 seconds.
I used ffmpeg to extract the images, I tried different resolutions (720x400, 720x1280, 960x720, 720x540, 1440x800, and 1440x1080), and frame rates (8, 12 and 30).
The desc.txt looks like this:
720 400 12
p 0 0 part0
p 0 0 part1

Also
1440 1080 8
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1

There's a total of 264 images, with only 1 on the part1 folder.
I also tried 'c' instead of 'p' in the desc.txt. I used jpg and png formats.

If I'm lucky the phone boots w/o showing the animation, other times, it boots, but there is no video at all and I have to boot recovery, remove bootanimation.zip and reboot (permissions are 644 on the file).
Any suggestions?
WTF am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

At&t failing 5.1 update

Just bought an at&t variant on craigslist, I did a factory reset and tried to run the 5.1 update and I get an error updating, it downloads update.. then it reboots and starts installing showing the android guy working , then about 20 seconds into it it shows the little android guy on his back with a red exclamation and says error and then proceeds to reboot. Once rebooted it says it failed to update. I'm used to Samsung phones .. hoping there's an odin type option to get a stock 5.1 or rooted stock 5.1 on this guy, any headstart info would be appreciated. thanks
