help Verizon s5 bricked after factory resest

My phone is rooted and I have SafeStrap installed. I wanted to unroot it so I did a factory reset. Now it seems that when I turn it on I can only get to Odin download mode or safestrap. The system won't just wipe completely and restart.

Bare in mind I am dumb and know little of the lingo.

I tried to the stock kernel through odin, which worked last time I unrooted it (but didn't have safestrap then) but no dice this time.

Help please!
