tried to downgrade att note 4 and now stuck in recovery!!

Tried to use odin to downgrade att note 4 5.0.1 to 4.4 kitkat, and now I'm stuck with a message saying firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. I tried to follow those instructions and Kies doesn't recognize my device. Is the only thing left to do is take it back to AT&T, or can I possibly find the 5.0.1 firmware it was running and make it work again.
