I'm not sure where to post this question, hope I picked the right forum.
A couple of weeks ago my USB port broke on my phone when it fell while charging. Landed right on the charger and gone was the micro usb.
I ordered two new micro usb ports from the internet and got them welded by a friend. It works great now except for people not hearing me when I talk.
I opened up the phone and saw a rubber was missing from the chip (no worries I included a picture). Could someone tell me if this is the reason why my microphone won't work and how I can fix this issue? Can't seem to find a replacement online anywhere or something similair. I don't know if other mobile phones use the same methode.
So it's the rubber cover on the chip that is missing. From what I understand it's the cover for the speaker. Putting a piece of tape over it doesn't work.
