Hi all..
I am new to this phone as previously I was on the lenovo p780, a jewel except for its low RAM and Storage Capacity. Over the months, several Custom ROM came out which made this phone more powerful.
On the contrary, I understand that the P8000 is very new; hence I see only FlyMe OS Custom ROM available. Before, we speak of the ROM, perhaps, I could list down the numerous problems currently being encountered on the phone.
Problems:
1. The Camera is not good at all in terms of quality of image which most probably lays on the lighting parameters. I believe it's a software issue as I understand that the camera hardware is a good one; Samsung!
2. Secondly, my Lenovo P780 had a 4000mAH battery unlike the P8000 which has one roughly higher. Still, I notice that the battery drains down quite fast; although I make it throughout the day - something I need to point out. But I would have expected it to go as long as 2 days as with the Lenovo P780 I could make it up to 1 and half days with heavy usage.
3. 3rd party apps crashes when using camera and sometimes other options available with the current ROM.
4. I notice that the Internet speed is very slow; be it for the WIFI and most importantly the Mobile Internet. For starters I cannot get the 4G as stated in the specs. The best I get is the 3G although I find it very slow compared to the 3G I was getting with my Lenovo. On the second slot, I am getting only 2G. Am I supposed to be getting for than the 2G on the second slot.
5. While trying to flash the FlyOS ROM onto the phone, I am having troubles to get the phone recognised by my PC although I tried all the solutions provided on numerous forums. Still nothing! If somebody have been able to get it recognised on a Windows 10, please PM me.
Therefore, to end this thread, I would like to know if somebody has been able to address these issues and if others too are having the same problems. Has FlyOS been able to address those issues?
Finally, anybody out there who has the capacity to Port other successful ROMS?
Looking to hear from all of you.
Thanks.
