Hello, in the Android 5.1 update for nexus 6, the device recieved a huge boots in the smoothness of the device thanks to making the device work with all the cores enabled all the time. More info in Franco's Google+:
"In case you're wondering why your Nexus 6 feels so darn fast and smooth on Android 5.1, besides all the improvements on ART and possibly a lot of code cleaning and optimizations on the Framework - the device is now running full quad-core mode all the time which helps tremendously because the Kernel task scheduler can distribute the workload through all these cores so you'll get the perception that the device is not hanging anymore."
There is any way to make my device bahave in the same way? I have a Xperia Z3 Compact running Android 5.1.1 but some cores goes to sleep when it hasn't got heavy usage. I tried some governors but the cores keep going back to sleep.. The device is very smooth but I want MORE!! haha
Thanks.
