I have Moto G 2014. I have been using lot of ROMS on my phone( There's lot of development going on). Currently I have dongraded my phone to Kitkat (from CrDroid(based on Android 5.1) to Ehndroix(Based on android4.4 )). Now my question is , I want to learn porting stuff and thus want to port some 5.1 ROM for moto g 2014. So if I upgrade my phone back to 5.1 , Will it be safe ? or will it brick my phone ? Should i do that? Please have your suggestions and it would be better if you explain it in detail. It will help me as well as to othrs whi have the same confusion.
