After my last review on the CHOETECH Qi Wireless Charger, I got this CHOETECH Multip-purpose LED Flashlight review unit. Since I do some photography work, I already own quite a few flashlights (including MagLite), but this one is a little bit (actually a lot) different from the rest. I've been using it for a week now and it's been good to me. Yet again, the product quality isn't inferior by any means and the flashlight is bright enough for most of my work. And what's even better is the battery life which is pretty amazing due to obvious reason which I'm gonna discuss below.
Like always, I'll split the review in following categories:-
1. Packaging & Content
2. Build Quality & Design
3. Functionality
4. Pros & Cons
Packaging & Content
If you have read my review on CHOETECH Wireless Charging pad, you probably know that I wasn't really very happy with the boxing of the that product. Looks like CHOETECH didn't care much about that and yet again I'm highly disappointed. This one comes in a recyclable brown box shown below without any branding or seal.

In-fact, the box doesn't even mention the product name on it. So, no brand, no product description and no seal. That means, anybody could open it, use it and sell it back as a new product and nobody would know.
Moving on to the contents, we have the following items inside:-
- CHOETECH Flashlight
- Lanyard (pre-attached to flashlight)
- USB Cable
- Instruction Manual
- Warranty Card

Wondering why there is a USB Cable ? Well of-course, one of the reasons is to charge the flashlight but that's not all. This flashlight packs quite a few unique features that makes it standout among the rest. Keep reading to know more.
Build Quality & Design
The finishing of the flashlight is outstanding. With a metallic mount and a strong plastic body, the product is very well built. It fits very well in hand and looks good too. Now, what's more unique about this product is, this flashlight is Shock Resistant and it is IPX6 Water Resistant. So, be it rain or terrain, this flashlight will live to see the next sunshine.

The list of features doesn't end here. For emergencies, this flashlight packs a seat-belt cutter on the edge and a window smasher at the bottom. The cutter has a sharp blade fitted nicely inside plastic mount at the edge in such a way that it is absolutely safe for anything except thin straps. I tried it with a thick piece of towel and it did cut the edge of the towel with right amount of force. At the bottom of the flashlight, there is a rubber cap which could be pulled off to reveal a sharp and solid steel mount which could be smashed against a car window (or a walnut) to break it into pieces. I didn't try this one due to lack of objects that I would gladly break.

Coming to the best feature of this flashlight, it does have inbuilt 5600 mAh Li-ion battery which could charge any of your USB devices. It charged my S6 Edge+ from 0-100% and still had hours worth of power for the flashlight itself.

Overall, it's a well designed product and it has that premium quality flashlight feeling to it.
Functionality
Choetech's Amazon Listing states that it is a 250 lumen LED which is pretty good for a flashlight. I couldn't test the lumen value, but when I took a walk with it at night and the flashlight was easily able to highlight a 100 (328 ft) meter distant tree even with the lowest brightness. Clicking and holding the power switch for 2 seconds starts/stops the flashlight. It also packs an SOS functionality on double clicking the power switch quickly. With it's massive 5600 mAh battery, I was able to charge my 3000 mAh cellphone battery to full once and I'm still struggling to completely discharge it using just the flashlight since a week (on a regular use).
Opening the mount reveals 1 USB Port, 1 Micro-USB Port. The former acts as an output for powerbank while the latter is used for charging the powerbank/flashlight itself. It also has 4 blue LED indicators inside which denotes the charge status of the powerbank on pressing power switch (each LED denotes 25%). After connecting the USB cable, one needs to press the power key to start the charging process.

I was able to charge my phone from 0-100 in 150+ minutes which isn't bad for a powerbank but it is definitely below what CHOETECH claims on its product specification.

Like you can see above, the flashlight output is mentioned as 5V/2A but in my test, my S6 Edge+ could only draw 1.28A which is only 64% of actual claimed output. The charging time also aligns to my test result. So, if you're expecting a more powerful charging output, you might wanna skip this one.
To test it's IPX6 water resistant capability, I did try holding it down under a running tap and it didn't disappoint me there. I didn't want to drop it to test the shock resistant capability because I really like the finishing and didn't want to scratch it. Please feel free to try and let me know..
Since we've covered everything about it, lets head to the next category
Pros & Cons
Pros:-
- Premium looks & Strong built
- Rechargeable
- 5600 mAh Powerbank
- Shock & Water Resistant
- Seat-belt Cutter & Window Smasher
Cons:-
- No Focus Ring
- 1.28A powerbank output (against 2A)
- Poor Boxing
- No in-box Charging Adapter
Overall, the product is well worth it's price. If you're one of those adventurer and you're packing bags to head out to your next destination, I would highly recommend this product. But if your primary necessity is a powerbank, I would look somewhere else.
