after tough decision decided to sell my p8 max, pm me for info. t-mobile in phoenix az gets horrible hspa+ speeds so hoping one day it will have compatible lte bands cause this phone is awesome and would buy in a second again. P8max softbricked, need system.img

Hi guys,

I accidentally wiped /system from my phone, and now I can't get it back. :(
I've tried downloading the OS zip from the Huawei site and running it from an SD card like it says, but it just fails.
I've also tried extracting system.img from the file with a tool I found here, but it won't flash with fastboot, it just fails saying it can't load the file. It seems like maybe it's encrypted in some way.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Can anyone upload a system.img file I can flash to my device?

I have managed to unlock the phone but I can't root it I have followed all the instructions and just no luck.

I followed this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...15&postcount=8

I get stuck at step 4, when I type in the command prompt "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" is says waiting for device and just sits there and never changes, its like the phone is not connected.

Please if anyone can help me that would be great.
