Android SQL database confusion!

Well I'm a noob in regards to some people here. But out of curiosity, what is the difference between rollback journal & Wal. I understand that these are two types of database type. But I assume most OEM keeps Wal mode off by default. Why is that? Thanks in advance. :cowboy:

My wife lost her phone and of course its sd card inside.

I happen to have a backup of it from about a month ago. is there anyway of restoring this

How to connect MySQL database in Java ?

I am coding a module in java that need a database connection with MySQL. I heard about DriverManager but I think it is pretty old method for database connection. Is there any newer and efficient way of doing the same. This Java questions and answers forum comprises of large number of tech and coding expert, So I expect quick and satisfactory solution or full set of instruction/ code require for this.

Need assistance for a schoolproject - Listview Database app

Hello to you all.
I'm currentely busy working on a school project. My problem is that I know barely anything about android development, I'm a slow learner and I couldn't keep up. Deadline is in a week from today, and I'm freaking out, because I don't know what to do next. :confused:
