G2 stock LP with Viper4Android

I haven't seem any Viper4Android work on LP lately yet. There are alot method but it doesn't seems to work on LP. Only Cloudyfa g2 3.3 has built in Vipe4Android. Are there any one installed and work on LP beside Cloudyfa 3.3?

Need help with Viper4android

I am using the lastest twrp, but everytime i try to flash the viper4android out of the apps and themes section for nexus 5 i get an updater binery error....I ave no clue what i am doing wrong. I looked through the forum and serched it and i cant find anything that really helps. Any suggestions would be nice

Cant seem to get viper4android to work

I learned about viper4android and that is what made me start this crusade. I literally spend all of yesterday researching and learning how to root and troubleshooting viper4android and I still can't seem to get it to work.

I rooted my phone and flashed the latest version of TWRP, and installed superSU as well. I initially had a lot of trouble getting the busybox drivers to install but I finally managed to get the latest version installed. The app busybox on rails verifies that the current version of the busybox drivers are installed.

I tried different methods of installing viper4android and I don't have any luck with any. I get the app installed but once I launch the app it asks me which drives I to install, I try to install the super quality drivers but the drivers will not install. I've done a lot of googling of what the problems could be but the "fixes" people suggest dont work. The latest thing I tried was installing SELinux and changing the mode to permissive before trying to install the the drivers but the drivers will still not install.

Any ideas on what to try next? I've granted all these apps permanent permission through superSU. The other thing I've been wanting to do is to remove all the ATT bloatware, but even the app I got for that called "uninstall" will not uninstall all the bloatware which makes me wonder if something is incorrect. However in the bootloader it says my phone is "modified" and "unlocked".

Any help would be appriciated, and I should also mention I have lolipop 5.0.2.

Oh yeah. Viper confirmed working with Apollo player apk. Can provide links if needed. Just viper apk and selinux mode changer. Done

Make sure you've downloaded the latest version (2.3.4.0 - That's the one I'm tested)
Make sure that your device is rooted, amd delete the AudioFX and any other Equalizers you previously installed.

Don't make any change in developer options for me its working flawlessly with/without changing NU player settings. But if you have any problem then tick "Use Awesome player instead of NUplayer" in developer options.

[APP][SOUND MOD][Go][Lollipop] ViPER4Android [Zip Package]

You are Lollipop user but you not getting perfect sound even you bought high price earphone.
You have other sound mod but still you not getting the perfect sound, here I share ViPER4Android for you.
For awesome sound experience with many sound effects equalizer, convolver, surround and many more options for the perfect sound. It even improve the sound from your phone's speaker.

I only tested it with Xperia Go with CM12.1 by XperiaSTE. It worked awesomely.
Should work with other phone with lollipop rom, flash and try it yourself.

How do I install?

Go into recovery and flash the zip. It will take care of most of the steps for you. Upon your first launch of the app you will be prompted to install drivers of your choosing then be prompted for a reboot. If coming from a previous version of Viper or you have any other sound mods I fully recommend uninstalling them. Then go into recovery and flash your ROM and the zip in one session.

Which drivers do I use?

I recommend Super Audio quality. It uses a higher sampling rate which can be thought of as like a megapixel on a camera. More sample information equals cleaner signal but your files must be equal to or better than the driver sampling rate. I find the highs to be much cleaner and have less distortion with Super Audio. While the prompt warns about extra battery usage, testing with Better Battery Stats for me has shown the effect on battery life to be minimal. You will get higher drain using the Convolver then by choosing a higher quality driver.

P.S.:
LolliViPER.zip will install Viper to priv-app and remove Audio FX, DSP Manager, and Music FX. It will also edit the audio_policy.conf for added app compatibility and add a script to allow Viper to work with SELinux enforcing with SuperSU. ***BONUS for ROMs with addon.d support-the zip will place a script into addon.d that will automatically backup and restore everything changed by the zip on dirty flashes eliminating the need to flash every update so long as you do not do a manual system wipe.***

Android M preview MPA44I trying to get Viper4Android to work

I came from Android 5.1.0 and had everything working.
I am using Viper4Android for years and always could get it to work... Probably the same now, but for now I didn't succeed.
My upgrade to Android M preview was done without any real preparation. When I took my phone out my pocket 2 days ago it was in a boot screen and asked me for the access code.
When I entered it I saw it was wiping all data of my phone...

Luckily I have Titanium Backup and decided this was also the day to try those previews of Marshmallow.
I copied the the folders Whatsapp and TitaniumBackup to my PC and installed it.
I was pleasantly surprised in the way it restored my desktop, but that was after I had to set my WiFi to a static IP or else I was not getting an IP.
Later I learned that I need to select the "old DHCP-client" to get access.... (why make a new one if the old one works and the new one doesn't?)

I was able to install restore as it was before, but I can't get Viper4Android to work.
I suspect it's something with Selinux.
I restored the app that changes the SeLinux through Titanium (I'm mentioning it as it might be the reason).
It gained root access, but already said it was running in "permissive" mode. Not explicitly, but I could only select enforcing.
Another difference with my previous system is that I don't have that warning all the time that I need to remove that app (the Selinux changer).

I also have root explorer on my phone and that one behaves strange when I set it into "root mode"
Suddenly I can't get straight to the SDCard and when I from root via mnt to my download folder I can see some files with a size, but files I recently downloaded are 0 bytes.
These files have normal sizes when I look at it in normal mode and also when I do an "ls -al" from a terminal session.
The files that have sizes are pushed there using the USB-cable via MTP. The files with 0 bytes are downloaded using Chrome...

I would be interested to know if others have succeeded to get Viper4Android working on this build on the Nexus 6

PowerAMP will work on Normal and Compatible Mode.
For Normal Mode you must Disable BOTH Direct Volume Control & BT Direct Volume Control even if you're on wired headphones, under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks" to Disable.
For Compatible Mode you are free to use DVC but you must Enable MusicFX under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks", then under Tone/VOL you can trigger the MusixFX button and V4A will work.

Just for fun PowerAMP users should know there is a Material Theme to match your V4A :)
