Black Dark Cloudy Spots on LG G3

On the bottom right side of the screen of my LG G3. There is like a dark film or cloudy thing that is on there. I don't know how to get it off or what it is.

Put in freezer for dead spots on screen fix?

Hey guys, I have a dead spot and ghost touch problem on my vs980 touchscreen. I purchased it as a refurb on Amazon and I'm not sure whether the seller will replace it (noticed a problem early on, but thought it was an issue with my clumsy thumb- but now it's gotten worse a couple weeks after the return period). I read on a couple other threads that people have cured this problem on other phones by putting them in the freezer for a few hours in a plastic bag. The only problem is that they always describe removing the battery before doing this. Obviously, this would take some work on the g2. Any opinion on whether doing this with the battery in would be too risky? Anyone think this will work at all?
