Netflix Error -9

Hi all,

When I try to open Netflix, it loads for a minute and then I get the following message:

Sorry, we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. (-9)

I am currently running Zombi-pop 5.1.1 RC1.

I have already tried the suggestions in the Zombi-pop dev thread to no avail.
I have also tried reinstalling and wiping caches etc.

Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Netflix issue -- Tearing with high speed horizontal movement

I'm not sure if this issue occurred during 4.4 Kit-kat, but it definitely has happened on Lollipop.

I purchased a 612 in Japan a few months ago. The Lollipop update wasn't coming through for me (and I had some Wi-Fi frequency issues), so when I finally saw an apparently official 612 American (I'm American) ROM to flash, I diligently followed instructions and successfully installed 5.0. I've since upgraded to 5.1.1 using Sony's PC Companion.

Anyways, onto the issue, which I believe this is the ONLY community on the net that could possibly help me with.

In Netflix, and seemingly ONLY on Netflix (as in, not via the Videos app, YouTube, etc), when a movie has high speed panning/action, there is a tear in the first 1/3 of the screen (a vertical one), toward the SONY logo. When I flip the tablet 180 degrees, it's on the opposite 1/3 of the screen!

The ONLY thought I have is that maybe the Japanese models physically have a different refresh rate than the US ones, and in flashing my unit, I managed to run into that issue? And perhaps Netflix is one app that doesn't VSYNC properly? I've tested every thing under the sun and while I originally thought it was happening only after I pulled the notifications tab down from the top, I recently had it happen without touching anything after a fresh restart.

I LOVE this tablet, but honestly, Netflix in bed is a HUGE use case for me. I'd LOVE to solve this issue. If anyone can help (and please let me know if more info is needed btw), I'm exceedingly grateful.

Netflix Fix

I created a flashable zip that allows me to get connected to netflix (finally !!!!), it's working on my n5110 with the latest CM12.1 (20150911). The problem is that even when I can login into Netflix now, the Android App just wont work in CM12.X, this seems to be entirely a Netflix problem; But using this flashable zip with the workaround proposed at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2101525 I can watch netflix with no problems. It can be that this patch could work on any other CM12.1 ROM but I can't guarantee it.

netflix issues

So I've been having this issue for a few weeks now, that netflix doesn't load videos anymore. I can browse with no issues and can stream other vod apps no problem it's just netflix. I've tried rebooting, reseting changing roms (of which could not find a good and stable one ) anyone else having this issue? My coworker has a 6 edge and has no issue and it works fine on my note 3

Netflix issues after root.

Not sure if anyone else is having problems, but after rooting the Note I haven't been able to stream Netflix on the phone. Anyone else having this issue? Any fixes?
