Odd blip after modding 5.1.1 SystemUI

Hello everybody. I have been working with my 5.1.1 SystemUI from freeza's mostly stock ROM, using both Tickle My Android and Android Multitool. The first mod I did was with Tickle My Android. I moved the clock to the center of the status bar but this giltch (see attached thumbnail) showed up when swiping the status bar down/up. I thought I had just screwed up something in the code so I started over with an unaltered SystemUI. This time I got rid of the sfinder/quickconnect bar using Android Multitool. Unfortunately the glitch showed up again. It looks like the top of the status bar is coming back up from the bottom then it disappears. Has anyone had this issue before or know what might be causing it? Its new to me.

[ROOTED]Kindle Fire 3rd Gen (soho) - Modding Question

Hi All.

I have a Kindle Fire 3rd Gen (soho) that I've rooted with 11.3.2.5 using the FireRooter Program. I've opted to use 11.3.2.5 because XPosed doesn't seem to have the modules necessary to block the System Updates when using 11.4.5.2... Even removing the osacerts file in the etc/security directory doesn't stop it from downloading the 4.5.4 update ... and I don't want to do that.

Anyway, What I REALLY want to do is change the "Kindle Fire" bootup logo. I was able to extract the apk using the APK Multitool while I was under the 11.4.5.2 Rooted OS... However after following that obsolete guide ... (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1355267) ... I replaced the apk as it instructed and ended up at a black screen, even after several reboots. So apparently it won't work on the 11.4.5.2 OS... I'm going to try to do the same with the 11.3.2.5 OS, currently reflashing it now.... but wanted to ask those who've already done it if there is any easier method of changing the "Kindle Fire" bootup logo?

I have my own images already, saved in the exact format\settings that I opened them with.

I've also been trying to change the wallpapers, but the /res/drawable-mdpi folder does not exist in the framework-res.apk under 11.4.5.2 OS ... which is where the Wallpapers are supposed to reside according to the guide. (which I KNOW is outdated, but figured it was worth a shot anyway)

I will gladly settle for just changing the Kindle Fire Bootup Logo.
