Low resolution images in Google Messenger

Hi guys,

I have been using the OnePlus 2 for the best part of two weeks and it has mostly been a good experience for me. I still don't like the fingerprint sensor which works 1 out of 3 times.

I have an issue that whenever I receive an MMS, the resolution is really low when using Google's Messenger app. I was using the same app and carrier with my LG G4 and the GS6 and had never had any issues before. Whoever sends me MMS it's the same. I don't want to try any other app so please don't suggest anything else.

I am on the latest Oxygen OS and my OnePlus version is A2001 and am rooted with xposed installed as well

anyone having issues with the Messenger App? when i send a voice message it does not play. It was working on my regular S6 Edge but now that i have the Edge Plus it's not working. I've uninstalled the messenger update and still the same thing.

Messenger - App not compatible with your device

I have just bought a Mediapad x2. So far so good. Bigger than I expected, but supercool :)

But I cannot install a pretty large amount of apps. Of which Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Skype, etc...

I get the error message that the app is not compatible with my device.

Anyone else have that problem? How do I fix it? I fear I will need to root my device to fix it?

Issues with Google Messenger and MMS while WiFi is connected

So I know a lot of people have had this issue, but I feel like my situation has no solution since all of the help threads are about Verizon and AT&T. I'm on Rogers in Canada.

My Nexus 5 is running 5.1.1 LMY48I. I am rooted, and have Xposed installed (Doubt that makes any difference since my Dad's Moto X has the same issue I do, and he's totally stock).

If the title seems unclear, here is a quick breakdown of the problem.

If WiFi is on and Data is on, MMS doesn't work.
If WiFi is off, and Data is on, MMS works.

My APN settings are as follows:

Those are the default settings as well.

How would one fix this? Maybe an Xposed module could be made to work around this? Like it could intercept an MMS event, or something, and temporarily disable WiFi, and then re-enable it once the MMS has gone through.

facebook messenger not syncing

Hi all! I just got a new galaxy s6 and searched for a solution to my problem before posting this but couldnt find anything. Facebook messenger (the separate application) does not seem to want to sync completely. Messages sent and received on desktop are not seen at all on the messenger app but are seen in the regular facebook app when u navigate to the messeges tab. Also, messages sent on the messenger app appears when i look at it on the desktop. How can i fix this so the messenger application syncs correctly with facebook?

Facebook and Facebook Messenger can't be deleted?

Forgive me if this is known already, but coming from the nexus 6 I was able to uninstall the Facebook app and messenger when I didn't want it.. I decided yesterday I was just going to bookmark Facebook and add a shortcut to the home screen for it. When I went to delete the app, I noticed I wasn't able to uninstall it. I have disabled both Facebook and messenger in application settings, however... I'd like to known if I can completely uninstall it.

This may not be specific to the note 5, buy that's the phone I'm using at the moment.

when i receive a text my screen does not automatically turn on when im usuing google messenger. is there a setting i need to activate to make it work?

Facebook Messenger App icon

Hello.

I was wondering why one of my friends picture have no small icon. I have seen that friend who uses only in pc have grey fb icon and who uses Messenegr app has blue icon. But what means if no icon? It confuses me. It is all the time same, even then when my friend is online/offline. Picture of it is here:

No MMS with Google Messenger on Verizon

Here is my current setup, I'm on Chroma 8/24 with HellsCore Kernel B10 T4 on Verizon. I have noticed that I am not receiving or able to send MMS. I have narrowed the issue down to Google Messenger. I can successfully send and receive MMS using Google Hangouts. Now I know it has nothing to do with the ROM. Its something wrong with the APNs and Messenger itself. Has anyone else had this issue and or a solution to it?
