Note 4, BOG5 - STILL VULNERABLE TO STAGEFRIGHT!

Just checked using Zimperium Labs most recent Detector app, and its showing one vulnerability still.

Note 4 Verizon RETAIL - BOG5 Modem?

this is the only place I can post., will someone please help or point me in the right direction if this question has already been asked?

On this post, "[Firmware] [LP] [5.0.1] [RetEd/DevEd] Safe Upgrade to Lollipop [N910VVRU2BOG5]" by hsbadr (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...lipop-t3178148) I noticed a link to the BOG5 Modem odin flashable tar.

Can this be successfully flashed to the RETAIL NON-ROOTED model of the Verizon Note 4 running ANJ5 ?

so essentially i want to still run ANJ5 KitKat but have the new modem from BOG5 Lollipop

bog5 issue

So I've run into a problem with my wife's phone which is not rooted. Ever since she took the bog5 OTA if her battery is at 50% or less it reboots repeatedly until the battery dies, almost like a boot loop but it goes to the lock screen every time and if you are fast you can interact with it. It also occasionally randomly reboots once or twice between 80 and 50%.
kies wont do anything, vzw repair tool wont either and odin wasn't much help either, also vzw said since it has insurance I could pay for an insurance replacement. Any ideas are appreciated.. thanks

Can I rollback from BOG5?

I've seen the Rollback thread but it explicitly states its for an earlier version.


Has anyone successfully rolled back from BOG5?
