Update problem

Hi i have emui 2.3 with p7-l10v100r001c00b117 source. I wanted to update to emui 3.0. But this is not official source. Becouse this mobile was on exhibition in shop. I have found this site carbontesla.com/2015/01/b609-emui-3-0-update-ascend-p7-l10/
Do you think if i do everything what was written on this site, everything will be ok?
