Lock screen notificatons

Having problems to get notifications on lock screen. I have all apps notifications turned on (facebook, whatsapp, email). Only notification I get is of new SMS only, which wakes up the screen. But rest of apps fails to do so.
Is it a touchwiz glitch, or there is a way to do it
Will appreciate any suggestions
