Huawei Ascend G6-U10 : Power button not working most of the time

As per the thread title, I have a Huawei Ascend G6-U10 as a secondary phone.

The power button doesn't function most of the time......in fact, that's more or less all of the time right now.

Anyone come across this issue? Any idea what may be up with it or how I go about putting it right?
