Anyone returned unlock bootloader device to Amazon?

My 'other' Moto X (direct from Moto) arrives tomorrow. I already have my Amazon one. I may prefer the darker wood back on the new one.

Would Amazon refuse my return if the bootloaded is unlocked? Anyone had any experience?

Amazon are usually very good with returns, but I wonder if when it gets sent back to Moto they would reject it?
