need to recover photos from a note 4, forgot passwords

My cousin coma with his note 4, he use to unlock the phone with fingerprint and one day the phone just ask the pass phrase, and he completely forgot the unlock pass and backup pass, we tried locking the phone from google device manager but, doesn't work for us.
we just want to recover the photos before factory reset the phone.
dont know android version, and the phone s not rooted, factory stock i think.

any advice would be appreciated
