I just got s S6 Edge, It has already android 5.1.1 version with kernel: version: 3.10.61-5447113. I would like to root the device using the pingpong tool without tripping Knox and I read that is not working on android 5.1.1.
My question is: if i downgrade from android 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 is it possible to root the device without tripping knox ?
Another question is : Am I gonna trip knox if after I root the device after I downgrade to android 5.0.1 and install TWRP for example in order to flash another ROM ?
