Change Samsung boot/shutdown animation without root?

Is it possible to change the startup/shutdown boot animations on a Samsung handset that is not rooted?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini (SM-G800Y - Telstra) handset and hate the ugly provider boot animations. I'd like to change them to the stock animations.

I don't have any need to root the device, I just want to change the animations.
